The San Diego Monastery, a branch of the Vedanta Society of Southern California, is located near Balboa Park, at 1440 Upas Street. It holds Sunday lectures, evening classes, and meditation and vesper services.

Vedanta Sara: the Basics of Advaita Vedanta is an informal class to understand and reflect on the principles and practices of Advaita Vedanta. If you are interested in joining, you may sign up at the monastery or talk with Swami Harinamananda.

Weekend Group Worship & Spiritual Talks 

10:00 am:  All are welcome to share in a guided group worship in the shrine room, preceding most Sunday lectures. Please note: this worship may be suspended when there is a special program or when the resident swami is away.

11:00 am:  Please plan to join us for enriching lectures and Q&A that focus on spiritual matters which impact our daily lives and our highest aspirations. Talks begin at 11:00 am unless otherwise noted.
